From DIY to Done-For-You: Yuluma Primary School’s First Professionally Run ColourMANIA
After running its own school colour run for the first time the year before, Yuluma Primary School’s P&C wanted to see how the professionals would do it.
The Challenge
Having previously hosted its own school colour run for the first time, Yuluma Primary School’s P&C wanted to see how professionals would run the event, and what new ideas they’d bring to it.
What We Did
GeckoSports took the morning to set up the oval for ColourMANIA and worked directly with Yuluma’s event organisers to make sure everything was ready to go, including staggered start times so every year group got its own turn at the start line, plus a slip and slide on the day.
The Result
The event “couldn’t have been smoother,” and the kids were, in the P&C’s words, “so excited” — the slip and slide in particular was “a huge hit.” Yuluma’s P&C has already said they’d book GeckoSports again.
“They are so professional and were so helpful not just on the day but in the lead up to the event.”
