About us
Hi, I'm Scott!
I played my first game of soccer at six, and sport has been part of my life ever since. As a kid I played soccer, rugby league, baseball, basketball, hockey and cricket. As an adult it’s been cricket, tennis, baseball, touch football and softball. Sport has given me the chance to travel and live overseas, but the friendships and memories are what I value most.
Sport taught me teamwork, discipline, focus and how to back your mates. Most of all, it taught me that sport should be fun. You don’t have to be the fastest, strongest or most talented kid on the field to enjoy being active, feel part of a team and love having a go.
I’ve passed that on to my two boys, who have grown up playing a mix of sports. One of my favourite memories is filling in for my eldest son’s cricket team and batting alongside him. The best moments in sport are rarely about trophies or results. They’re about the people you share them with.
That’s why I’m so excited to be part of GeckoSports. I want every child in our programs to feel welcome, have a heap of fun and build their confidence. Whether they’re already sports-mad or trying something for the first time, there’s a place for them here.
Together with my team, I’m looking forward to bringing our energy to the kids, families and schools in our community, and helping create a few lifelong sporting memories along the way.
“Every child deserves the chance to have fun, feel included and discover a lifelong love of being active.”

What’s On
Program Theme Highlight: WaterMania!
Our most-loved summer program combines multi-sport action with epic water play that keeps kids active, cool, and grinning from ear to ear.
Sponge tag ambushes, slip ‘n slide competitions, water balloon battles, and relay races, where getting soaked is half the fun. Kids stay energised while beating the heat through non-stop games and plenty of laughs.
Perfect for: Holiday programs, school or OSHC incursions, community events, and birthday parties.
Our Gecko coaches bring the equipment, energy, and water buckets for a safe, soaking-good time that kids will talk about for weeks.
