Hi, I'm Jodie!
I’m thrilled to be the new owner of GeckoSports Hills District!
With a Bachelor of Human Movement and Education and over 8 years of experience as a PE teacher—including serving as Head of Sport at a large school—sport has always been at the heart of my life. My love for netball, touch football, rugby union, and AFL has seen me coach at all levels, from grassroots clubs as a teenager to proudly leading the NSW U16s School Girls Rugby Team at Nationals and even guiding a touring squad to New Zealand.
Beyond teaching and coaching, I’ve enjoyed a rewarding career as a fitness instructor, with staying active being a cornerstone of my lifestyle. These days, I’m passionate about CrossFit and exploring new sports that challenge and energise me. My commitment to fitness and my love for connecting with people fuel my drive to promote health, well-being, and confidence across our community.
As a proud Hills District local, I’m excited to give back to the community that shaped me. Through GeckoSports, I’m on a mission to inspire kids to get moving, build confidence, and discover the joy of physical activity in a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment.
