Outcome:
Golf Australia has launched a new suite of programs through the MyGolf Schools offering – Mini Golf, Pitch & Putt and Swing It. These programs have all been designed with teachers in mind, providing simple and accessible curriculum, resources and equipment kits to be able to easily and safely deliver either a single skill or all golf skills at school, in a wide range of spaces. The MyGolf School’s program is aligned to the ACARA curriculum with endorsement from ACHPER Victoria,
Course details:
Be aged 16 years or over
Accreditation costs $49 (30 minute online module & assessment)
Programs are self-paced and complete in your own time
*note: If you work with individuals with a physical or mental impairment or have lived experience of disability. This course will also accredit you to deliver the Golf Australia MyGolf All Abilities Program.

- The structure and philosophy of National Golf Programs
- Curriculum alignment and assessment strategy of the program
- The essential components of golf tactics, equipment and the golf swing
- How to prepare and deliver junior beginner golf sessions to groups
- Inclusive coaching techniques for diverse learners
- Best safety practices while delivering beginner golf sessions
What programs can you deliver after completing this accreditation?
MyGolf Schools
Upon completion, you will receive one year of nationally recognised accreditation by Golf Australia and the PGA of Australia, endorsed by Sport Australia. This includes insurance coverage under Golf Australia’s national policy, an accreditation eCertificate, and practical training opportunities.
Validity: Not required to recertify unless advised otherwise.
Recertification: is required 12 months from your certification date. Cost to recredit is $49.00
Learners will log into their GeckoSports profile to repeat the online training and module set. On completing the course, you will upload your updated certificate
