This induction will help you understand our programs, expectations, and the important role you play in creating positive experiences for children. As you work through the training, remember that support is always available. We’re here to help you succeed and grow as a coach. We can’t wait to see the energy, enthusiasm, and encouragement you bring to every session.

A lot of trust is placed in GeckoSports by parents, schools and care centres as they leave us to look after children. We have a range of policies in place to ensure that not only are the children kept safe to maintain that trust, but to keep you safe as well as an employee.
Each course step below will outline the key details you need to know and remember for each policy, plus a link to download the full policy. You should read through each policy in full, because when you complete each step you are confirming to us that you understand what is expected of you as a GeckoSports Coach.
You can come back to this course at any stage while you are employed with us to re-read any of the polices, or download important forms.
While there’s no specific order to complete the course, it’s important to finish them all. Each step should take you around 30 to 45 minutes.
To finalise your induction, you will need to complete and pass the Induction Quiz. This is an “open book” quiz – you will be able to have the policies open in another window/tab to double-check your answers before locking them in.
These steps will guide you toward becoming a fully certified GeckoSports Coach.
